Our story

A family table on the river mouth since 1985.

Guido's is a family-owned restaurant and pizzeria, proudly part of Guido's Co., and it has been part of Port Alfred since 1985. You'll find us in the blue building on West Beach Drive, looking out over East Beach, West Beach and the mouth of the Kowie River.

The oven is the heart of the place. It burns real wood, not electricity. The dough is made here, the cheese is shredded by hand, and every pizza comes out a little blistered and smoky at the edges.
